Become a world federalist intern Students, you can learn about the movement for good world government as you help to make it a reality. All the while, you'll also be developing new skills, getting experience with management, making contacts in the Bay Area 's vibrant sector, and earning credit as an intern. Represent the Democratic World Federalists at public events You can help us spread the message by making yourself visible and vocal at various public events. Should you wish, we can work with you to help develop a well-crafted message, match you with other activists in the area, and/or work to provide you with high-quality handout materials.

Introduce other activist groups to world federalist concepts and help to develop cooperative programs Teach people in other organizations that working to create a well-functioning and fair global political structure can help, and may even be a prerequisite to the achievement of their own group's more specific goals. Introduce and lobby for resolutions within the governing body of these other organizations calling for support of world federalist principles. Create connections between our office and theirs so that we can work together on mutually beneficial projects If you have got a group in mind, keep us updated on your progress and let us know how we can help.

Elicit a commitment to good global government from our elected officials and their political parties The basic world federalist concept, that all people have the right to participate in their own governance on all levels at which they are governed, should not be considered radical or politically unpopular. After all, the Framers of the U.S. Constitution initiated this principle. Make your elected representatives declare their support for good government on the local, state, national, and global level and then hold them responsible to upholding that pledge. Contact the Democratic World Federalists to inform us of your progress and let us know how we can help.

Provide a venue and/or audience for a world federalist presentation Do you know of a group that would like to hear a speaker or see a video on world federalism? Whether it be a class, a small house party, church group, or community organization, let us know your interests and we'll do our best to get you a world federalist presentation.

Act as a resident expert on topics of interest to world federalists Are you a news shark or policy wonk? Help us further develop expertise on an issue of importance to world federalism by making a commitment to gaining and maintaining an in-depth understanding of a specific issue. Keep our busy headquarters up to speed on new developments with regular updates and special action alerts. Contact our office if you're interested.

Provide us with the contact information of potential world federalist prospects Do you know someone who might be interested in supporting world federalism? If you provide us with their contact information, we'll do our part to provide them with literature about our organization and the political philosophy which it supports. Contact our office if you have someone in mind.

Distribute our publication in local coffeeshops, libraries, and other public reading spaces. Do you know of some place where the public goes to read and/or discuss the issues? Find out if they wouldn't mind placing a few copies of our publication someplace where people might pick them up to have a look. We can arrange to have them mailed directly to this venue or we can send extra copies to you so that you can drop them off yourself. Get in touch with our office to let them know where you think our literature might get some attention.

Make a Donation to the Democratic World Federalists Be a donor-supporter of the most important ways for you to help is by making a contribution. Volunteer in other ways Yes, it's an awfully broad category, but it has to be mentioned. There are practically endless ways that you can lend a hand. Sometimes we need volunteers for our events or in preparing for the distribution of our quarterly. Perhaps you have some accounting skills, or computer expertise. The bottom line is this: if you want to contribute, we will probably find something useful for you to do. Just let us know that you are interested.
